House Of Yoga Class Descriptions
If you are new to Yoga we recommend beginning with one of our Basic Hatha Yoga classes.
Classes start on time and door locks. Please arrive 15 minutes before class.
Level 2 classes
Short Form Primary series. Sun Salutations, standing, seated and finishing poses with inversions, to cultivate focus, sensitivity, strength and flexibility.
A complete practice in 30 minutes to inspire your day. Each class is unique and practicing the 4 classes during the week provides well rounded nourishment for your body. This series will also prepare you to enter Ashtanga classes and Level 3 Vinyasa classes.
Sun Salutations, core, peak pose, pranayama. Level 2
Level 3 classes
Soul (Jiva) Vinyasa Light
A Jivamukti Yoga class. Intelligent sequencing that will challenge your mind and body and inspire your heart.
This class is designed for the continuing student who has a burning desire to know what is real, what is true.
For those who are willing to explore preconceived limitations of mind and body, and participate in dissolving away the illusion,
and experience the full blown wonder of the SELF.

Tuesday Soul (Jiva) Vinyasa
You must be pre-approved or have a strong vinyasa practice to attend this class. To receive approval, attend Thursday, Soul (Jiva) Light until you are steady in the practice.

PUJAS: New Moon and Full Moon Meditations
New Moon Meditation and Puja to remove obstacles.
Set intentions of what you wish to clear from your path,
invoke Ganesha through mantra and meditation, to gain wisdom and strength to navigate.
Full Moon Meditation and Puja to open and receive abundance.
Set intentions of what you are manifesting in the world, invoke Laksmi through mantra and meditation to awaken to the resources with in you.
Donations of flowers, fruit and monetary are graciously accepted.
Pujas are held on the New Moon and Full Moon each month

Level 1 classes
Our Hatha Yoga classes provide a foundation for your yoga practice, exploring breath, movement, energy and alignment
that together bring balance to the Physical body through strength and flexibility and the Energetic body through enhancement of prana, life force, through the energy channels and chakras.
Great for beginners as well as continuing students. All levels.
Hatha Yoga: Dosha Balancing
A basic Hatha class infused with the wisdom of Ayurveda
to bring balance and harmony to body and mind in each season.
Class changes with 4 seasons allowing the student to explore
various methods to their practice to harmonize with nature. All levels
Restorative Hatha Yoga
Classes open with hatha postures to warm & create fertile space in the body mind to then receive the nourishment of soft, healing restorative shapes. Relaxation, restoration, and wholeness originate with the unity of mind, body, and spirit, radiating outwards, beyond the boundaries of the Self, from what Hafiz, the great Sufi poet, calls “the Sun we carry in our hearts.”
Kundalini Yoga for the end of the day.
Active and passive asana-based kriyas, pranayama and meditations which target the whole body system (nervous system, glands, mental faculties and chakras) to develop awareness, consciousness and spiritual strength."- Yogi Bhajan Class includes deep relaxation with gong in Sivasana. All levels.
Yin + Restorative Yoga
Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga opens deep connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and spine. This practice melts away stress and tension from the body and mind. A soft introspective practice. All levels.
Yoga for Everybody
A very individualized approach to yoga. Props are highly utilized to assist you in experiencing the benefits of each asana
in a way that is right for YOUR body. All with special needs welcome.
* All of the LEVEL 1 classes are accessible for Pre-natal practice
with the approval from your doctor. Modifications will be given for you. Please inform your teacher if you are pregnant, so we can offer the best practice for you and your baby.
