House Of Yoga Class Descriptions
If you are new to Yoga we recommend beginning with one of our Hatha Yoga classes.
Classes start on time and door locks. Please arrive 15 minutes before class.
Level 2 classes
A complete practice in 45 minutes to inspire your day. Each class is unique wand provides well rounded nourishment for your body, mind and soul. This class also prepares you to enter Ashtanga classes and Jivamukti Vinyasa classes.
Sun Salutations, core, peak pose, pranayama.
Short Form Primary series. Sun Salutations, standing, seated and finishing poses with inversions, to cultivate focus, sensitivity, strength and flexibility.
Intelligent sequencing to challenge your mind and body and inspire your heart. This class is designed for the continuing student who has a burning desire to know what is real, what is true.

PUJAS: New Moon and/or Full Moon Meditations
New Moon Meditation and Puja to remove obstacles.
Set intentions of what you wish to clear from your path,
invoke Ganesha through mantra and meditation, to gain wisdom and strength to navigate.
Full Moon Meditation and Puja to open and receive abundance. Set intentions of what you are manifesting in the world, invoke Laksmi through mantra and meditation to awaken to the resources with in you.
Donations of flowers, fruit and monetary are graciously accepted.
Satsangs are guided gatherings where yogic topics and are openly discussed and experiences are shared.

Our Hatha Yoga classes provide a foundation for your yoga practice. Explore breath, movement, energy and alignment that together bring balance to the Physical body through strength and flexibility and the Energetic body through enhancement of prana, life force, through the energy channels and chakras.
Great for beginners as well as continuing students. All levels.
Hatha Yoga: Dosha Balancing
A basic Hatha class infused with the wisdom of Ayurveda
to bring balance and harmony to body and mind with each season.
Class changes with four seasons, allowing students to explore various approaches to asanas, pranayamas and meditation to harmonize with nature. All levels
Kundalini Yoga and the Tattvas
Kundalini + the Tattvas: Breath + movement to clear
subconscious patterns. Balancing the Tattvas
(the elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space).
Gongs. All levels
Yin + Restorative Yoga
Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga opens deep connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and spine. This practice melts away stress and tension from the body and mind. A soft introspective practice. All levels.
Yoga for Everybody
A very individualized approach to yoga. Props are highly utilized to assist you in experiencing the benefits of each asana in a way that is right for YOUR body. All with special needs welcome.
* All of the LEVEL 1 classes are accessible for Pre-natal practice with the approval from your doctor. Modifications will be given for you.
