Level 1 classes
HATHA YOGA Hatha Yoga classes provide a foundation for your yoga practice. Breath initiated movements, that nourish the spine and mobility in all joints. The asanas (postures) invite strengthening of muscles while aiding in overall flexibility. HATHA YOGA is perfect for those new to yoga, as well as those who are continuing students. This class reduces stress and tension in body and mind and leads to overall wellness, vibrancy and increase in energy.
HATHA YOGA: (DOSHA) A Hatha Yoga based classes, infused with the wisdom of Ayurveda to bring balance and harmony to body and mind. Class changes with the seasons, allowing students to balance their constitution with
asana, pranayama and meditation.
(Restorative Poses introduced) All levels
YIN/RESTORATIVE YOGA: Yin / Restorative Yoga opens deep connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and spine. This practice melts away stress and tension from the body and mind. Props are utilized and encouraged to support the body for a more restorative approach. This is a quiet, introspective practice that is perfect before bed, or anytime you would like to move into stillness. All levels.
LEVEL 2 CLASSES
ASHTANGA: Short Form Primary series. Sun Salutations, standing, seated and finishing poses with inversions, to cultivate focus, sensitivity, strength and flexibility.
MONTHLY COMMUNITY EVENTS
SATSANG AND KIRTAN: All welcome. Dharma talks and call and response chanting. Donations are welcome.
